The Praise and Worship Ministry is one of the most essential and sacred amongst the different ministries in a local church. The music prepares and sets the hearts of the people right, refreshes the spirit and leads the church into the worship of God.
JCSGO wants to encourage every disciple who has a calling or a desire to be used by God, to join us in our journey of faith, discover the joy and privilege of giving your time and talent for that which is eternal to the glory of God. Do not disregard your talent. The gift that God has given you is to be given away for His glory. Let us communicate the eternal truth of God’s Word as we praise and glorify Him through music.
This is a chance for a group of adults to come together and have a chance to sing and praise God.
The Adult Ministry gives the older members of the church the opportunities to grow in their spiritual walk, utilize their experiences and God-given gifts.
At JCSGO, we recognize the importance of youth ministry in the church and we want to see our young people develop a more passionate relationship with Jesus. Our youth mentor prepares lessons and organizes activities that guide and help our youth grow spiritually, take control, make positive decisions and address the challenges of the outside world with God-fearing attitude.
We want them to have a sense of belonging apart from the family - we listen to their inputs, see their strengths and utilize them, find their weaknesses and strengthen them. At their young age, we give them emotional and moral support so they will see themselves valuable, loved and being cared for.
We try to develop their skills, potentials and talents which can be used in the ministry to worhip God - acting, singing and playing musical instruments, dancing from interpretative to modern and hip-hop dance, all for the glory of God.
If you are young and living in Hessen or Rheinland-Pfalz, we encourage you to join us. We will assist you in your journey in knowing God. You can expect God to fill your heart with joy and your mind with great understanding as He reveals Himself to you.
Children are gifts and blessings from God to their parents and they are precious in Jesus’ sight. He loves them! He wants children to be brought to Him. Jesus said in Luke 18:16 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
That is why we encourage the parents to bring their kids with them. We believe even our little ones can start developing a relationship with Christ and knowing Jesus at a young age through listening to bible stories. We offer age-appropriate biblical instructions, and lessons are planned and reinforced with songs, play and supervised activities like arts and crafts. The children learn the easy-to-sing praise and worship songs and are putting the Bible verse into their minds at the same time.
